Not a bad book, and good to fill a few hours, but not something that made me want to read the other books in the series. Monica and Coop are equally flat, realizing their flaws and fixing them by the end. The terrorists are predictably evil, without a single redeeming quality amongst the lot of them. Not to say that I didn’t appreciate a clean romantic suspense novel… but the Christian message seemed a bit forced at times, and didn’t flow naturally with the story. ![]() The strong Christian message was unanticipated based on the product description. ![]() It offered plenty of tame suspense, even when you knew the outcome would be inevitable, as it was also a romance. This book wasn’t exactly what I had expected when I picked it up on my Kindle.
